A bit of history:
FK Volyn Lutsk is a professional Ukrainian football team in the Ukrainian First League. The club was formed in 1960. Based out of Lutsk, Volyn took part in the Ukrainian Premier League from its first championship in 1992. They were later sent down to Persha Liha after the 1995-96 season. They later resurfaced into the Ukrainian Premier League in the 2002-03 season, but they were relegated from the Ukrainian Premier League after taking 15th place in the 2005-06 season. Their home stadium is Avanhard Stadium.
Colours are (Home) red and white striped shirts, white shorts. (Away) Either all yellow, or all green.
