A bit of history:

Located in Palma de Mallorca, RCD Mallorca is the oldest club in Balearic Islands. Found on March 5th, 1916 and named Junta Directiva del Alfonso XIII FBC after the then king. In 1926 The club changed its name to Real Sociedad Alfonso XIII. The political events of 1931 - the abdication of the King Alfonso XIII, on April 14th, and the proclamation of the First Republic caused a change in the name of the club to Club Deportivo Mallorca. The Real prefix was added in 1949.

Actual logo was created in 1976 and refered to the shield from 1949.
