A bit of history:
Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors was established in 1994 as Jeonbuk Dynos. In 1997, the club changed its name to Chunbuk Hyundai Dinos, at the same time a new logo did its appartion. In 2000, the club changed its name again to Chonbuk Hyundai Motors FC, after being bought by Chung Mong-Koo (Chairman of Hyundai-Kia Motors). Once again the club got a new logo. It's only in 2007 that the club got its current name: Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors, and once again a new crest.
The emblem was simply designed in order to enjoy widespread on favor of a clearer view on the new millenium. Based on the colours of green and blue, which respectively represent the image of Chonbuk region and Hyundai Motors, the emblem emphasizes the first letter of Motors so that the team can be energetically expressed as being directly operated by Hyundai Motors.
