About the logo:

Qwa-qwa is the home of the Basotho thus the logo being influenced by the culture and symbolised by their traditional Hat (Modianyewe). The hat is unique to the Basotho people and the Sotho men traditionally wear it.

The knob Kirrie (Koto) is a Sotho traditional weapon. Thus the phrase “Ea Lla Koto”, meaning "Fight to the End". The two symbols were united together to create the Free State Stars logo.

The meaning of this logo is that the team is ready to go to war with the rest of the PSL teams. It also adds emphasis on the clubs never die attitude.
