A bit of history:
MKS Piast Choszczno was founded in 1946 as KS Zryw. The name was modified several times in the past (1948 - Spółdzielczy Klub Sportowy Choszczno, 1949 – Spójnia Choszczno, 1957-60 KS Piast Choszczno but changed in 1960 to WKS Grunwald Choszczno). The current emblem, based on Choszczno’s Coat of Arms, was designed by Jakub Malicki in September 2005.
