A bit of history:
Sława Sławęcin was founded in 1998 as LKS Sława. The current name contains sponsor’s name – Alapaw. The crest was designed in April 2007 by Jakub Malicki. The running boar placed under the shield refers to some custom. Sławęcin is surrounded by forests and the are lots of boars. After every football season, the manager of Alapaw-Sława (a forester) organizes a feast and then a boar is the main dish served.
