A bit of history:

Pogoń Lębork was founded in July 4th, 1945 as probably the first Polish team in the Western and Northern ‘Recovered Territories’. From August 4th, 1945 the club was playing as KKS Kolejarz Lębork. Three years later, in 1948, the club changed name to KS Wicher but most of footballers departed to the local rival – WCKS Gwardia Lębork. Some financial troubles caused the liquidation of Wicher. The club was reactivated in 1958 and 2 years later changed name to Lęborski Klub Sportowy Pogoń (as the result of fusion 3 teams from Lębork: Kolejarz, Gwardia and Sparta).

The current logo was chosen by a special commission in a logo competition. It was February 2006 when the proposal designed by Jakub Malicki won.
