A bit of history:
ASPN Roztocze based in Szczebrzeszyn, was founded in 1925. The name of city is one of most difficult word in Polish language and it was used to create a proverb.
Club’s name was changed several times: from Pogoń, LZS Roztocze, MOKiS Roztocze to the actuall one.
The club was using Szczebrzeszyn’s Coat of Arms as the official logo till February 2007, when Jakub Malicki designed the new logo with the CoA placed in the middle of shield. The initiative project was different than the official one (there was a cockchafer playing on a violin - the symbol of Szczebrzeszyn), but club’s authorities decided to register the crest containing Coat of Arms.
