A bit of history:
Club Olimpia was founded on the city of Asunción in July 25th 1902. The name is a reference to the ancient city of Olympia, in Greece. The chosen colors were the black and white.
Olimpia uses the same logo since it's foundation. A black and white logo with the shape of a wax seal, with the club's name. Nowadays the club uses one gold star and three silver ones on the shirt, in a reference of the club's Intercontinental Cup and the three Libertadores Cups.
