A bit of history:

The Club Cerro Corá was founded in March 1st 1925 on the neighbourhood of Campo Grande, Asunción. The club was named after the battle of Cerro Corá (Corá Hill), between paraguayans and brazilians. The club's colours are the red and black.

The club's first symbol was the three white "C" letters on the shirt, one inside the other. From this shirt badge the club's logo was created, maintaining the pattern of the uniform: black and red striped background with the white initials over it.
