Caribbean Cup - 4 (1991, 1998, 2005, 2008)
A bit of history:
Since becoming only the third Caribbean team to qualify for a FIFA World Cup™ when they reached France 1998, the
Reggae Boyz and their throngs of colourful fans have had little to shout about. Still, known as perhaps the most naturally gifted of the islands sides in CONCACAF, the men from the well-known birthplace of Bob Marley will now have to turn their attention to Brazil 2014 after tumbling out of the South Africa 2010 qualifiers at the semi-final stage.
After beating up on the Bahamas in the preliminary stages, the Jamaicans began their semi-final group in poor form, picking up only one point from their first three matches. After Brazilian coach Rene Simoes was replaced with former England star John Barnes, the team awoke but their three straight wins that followed were not enough to see them beat out Mexico for second place in Group 2, losing out just barely on goal difference.
