A bit of history:
FC Dinamo Tbilisi is a Georgian club based in Tbilisi. It was one of the strongest teams in the Soviet era, when the club was a part of the All-Union Dynamo sports society; its main claim to European fame was winning the Cup Winners' Cup in 1981, beating Carl Zeiss Jena of East Germany 2-1 in the final in Düsseldorf.
