A bit of history:
Käpylän Pallo or KäPa for short, is a football club from the Käpylä district of Helsinki.
KäPa was the first club in Finland to organize football leagues for youth players. The teams in these league's were named after English League clubs and some teams even got their shirts as presents from the English clubs that they were named after.
KäPa gained promotion to Ykkönen, the second tier of Finnish football in 2007. KäPa plays its home matches in Max Westerberg Areena, situated in Käpylän liikuntapuisto. KäPa has youth teams in agegroups ranging from 1988 to 2000. It is the organizer of Finland's biggest youth football tournament Helsinki Cup together with FC Honka.
