A bit of history:
Grankulla IFK, or GrIFK, is a Finnish football club from the city of Kauniainen. The club has got a rich history in Finnish football at lower levels. The club played in Ykkönen in the '80s, but after several years of glory, GrIFK was relegated all the way to Kolmonen. In 2004 the club won promotion back to Kakkonen and in 2007 it promoted back to Ykkönen for the season 2008.
