A bit of history:

NK Inter Zaprešić is a Croatian football club, from Zaprešić near the Croatian capital of Zagreb. The club was formed in 1929. During the Yugoslav era, its name was Jugokeramika, deriving from club's main sponsor. In 1990 it was renamed to NK Inker Zaprešić. The current name was adopted in 2003.

It saw its successes in the early days of the Prva HNL, winning the tournament "Slobodna Hrvatska" (Free Croatia) in 1991 and the Croatian Cup in 1992.

NK Inter Zaprešić plays out of Stadion Intera which has a capacity of 5,000 (3,500 seats). Club's nicknames are "Keramičari" (Cheramics makers) and "Div iz predgrađa" (Giant from the suburb).
