A bit of history:
The Santos Futebol Clube was founded on April 14th 1912, in the city of Santos. Its first colours were blue, white and gold, and the logo a round badge with the monogram. In 1913 the club changed its colours to black and white, because it was easier to find woven in these colours. The badge gained a new shape, but manteining the monogram.
In 1930 the logo changed to the actual one. And since the end of the 60's (1968 or 1969) the clubs uses two golden stars and the inscription "bimundial" (two-time world champions) on the badge.
