A bit of history:
Canto do Rio Foot Ball Club was founded on the city of Niterói, state of Rio de Janeiro. The club uses the same logo since it's foundation, however with white badge and blue monogram until the 30's, when this colour combination was flipped.
Since 1941 Canto do Rio uses a turquoise-blue and white shirt, colours of Niterói city flag, but it's badge and other details of the uniform remained in the original darker blue, official according to the club's statutes.
