A bit of history:
Bangu Atlético Clube was founded as "The Bangu Athletic Club" by english workers of a woven factory on the neighbourhood of Bangu, Rio de Janeiro. Its colors are the red and white.
Since it's foundation the club uses the same logo: striped in red and white with a red monogram, with each letter in the shape of a certain object. The "B" is a pince-nez, symbol of intelligence; the "A" an easel, symbol of culture; and the "C" a horseshoe, to bring good luck.
