A bit of history:
KFC Eppegem was originally founded in 1932 as FC Eppegem and was affiliated to KBVB/URSBFA in 1936. In 1940 the club stopped its activities due to World War II. It was finally re-founded in 1947 as FC Eppegem. In 1988 it fusioned with local team FC Borneo but kept FC Eppegem as name. Finally in 1997, they became Société Royale and changed their denomination to KFC Eppegem.
