About the logo:

The Club Atlético Chacarita Juniors was founded on May 1st 1906 in Buenos Aires, capital of Argentina, and was named after the Chacarita neighbourhood. The club's colours have a curious explanation: the first color, red, was chosen beacuse all the founders were from the socialist party; the black in honour of the cematery that was near the club; and the white as a symbol of purity.

The tradicional and actual logo is the same one from it's foundation: striped according to the shirt's pattern with a round monogram on the center. However the club used different logos on the early years. In the 20's Chacarita Juniors adopted a round logo with a three-coloured ball on the center. Briefly between 1934-35 the club used a completly different style. On the 40's and 50's the club used a similar version of the original, with the initials instead of the monogram. Since then the club returned to the original logo, wich is used until nowadays.

Between 2000 and 2005 the club used a different design of it's logo on the shirt, with less stripes.
